Sometimes it's knowing the little things that make all the difference. This time on Grip Minutia we are looking at fasteners, more specifically bolts. I don't have a whole lot to say on the matter, other than if you aren't using Grade 8 3/8" -16 bolts then you're doing it wrong. I did find a wealth of information in an answer to a recent Quora posting. The person was looking to learn something about engineering in ten minutes that would astonish and fascinate them.
