Replying to confirm burying that plain text address? Want to figure out where you know that sound guy from? Two more ways to get the most out of your callsheet emails.
Note: Previously I had been using the callsheet filter to forward callsheet emails to Evernote and then using evernote to search for names, but while researching this post I realized that Gmail search will actually search within attachments. Searching callsheets in Evernote still has the advantage of highlighting the person's name when found, but for most purposes a Gmail search is fine.
If you get callsheets on a regular basis and have trouble finding them in your inbox then hopefully this will help. Gmail has the capability to filter incoming messages and apply a label you specify. Use that to your advantage. Check the video below and stay tuned for a related tip next week.
